Who We are

We are a group of Bible-believing Christians with the common goal to share the love of Jesus with as many people as possible.

The Beginings

Children of second generation missionaries, Stuart and Ruth Carlson both grew up overseas, Stu in Peru as a Wycliffe missionary kid, and Ruth in Nigeria as a CMML missionary kid.

In the late 1990’s their shared interest in foreign missions prompted them to partner with Alternorm Ministries and Ministry of Mercy Orphanage in Nigeria, and in 2000, a new 501(c)3 organization named Partners in Joy, Inc., was born.

Since those early years, Partners in Joy has grown to team up not only with Alternorm Ministries and Ministry of Mercy Orphanages, but also with a number of other Christ-centered ministries in Nigeria, South America, and the United States.
